Appointed party

A party appointed by a lead appointed party to provide information, such as a consultant or specialist subcontractor.
Updated 5 November 2026Draft · awaiting review

An appointed party provides information to a lead appointed party under an appointment: a structural engineer working for the lead designer, or a services subcontractor working for the main contractor.

Each appointed party has one or more task teams, works to the lead appointed party's EIR and BEP, and plans its deliverables in a TIDP.
