Coordination issue

A recorded problem between models or disciplines, with an owner, status and due date, tracked until it is resolved.
Updated 5 November 2026Draft · awaiting review

A coordination issue records a problem found during coordination: a clash group, a missing element, a design question or a rule failure. It has a description, a location (often a viewpoint), an assignee, a priority, a status and a due date.

Issues are discussed at coordination meetings and exchanged between tools as BCF. Counting open and overdue issues is a better measure of progress than counting raw clashes.
