Record model (as-built)

A model updated to show what was actually built, used as the basis for handover information.
Updated 5 November 2026Draft · awaiting review

A record model, often called an as-built or as-constructed model, reflects the works as they were actually built, including changes made on site. It may be updated from site mark-ups, installation records or scans.

It should say how it was verified and to what accuracy. Its information, more than its geometry, is what the operator needs in the asset information model.
